Christmas and Charleston

For Christmas this year we had a big Christmas Eve Feast with friends and neighbors, celebrated Christmas at home and church, then headed south to Charleston SC where we rented a boat and stayed in the Charleston Harbor for 3 days. What a great Christmas.

Pirates

On Macy's last day of school, they had a Pirate party. Everyone looked so cute dressed up. Of course I had to dress Oliver up, too!

Lemonade

Macy is trying to save money to buy this American Girl doll. It costs $100, and I told her that it was too expensive and I wouldn't buy it for her, but that she could earn the money. She realized that with her weekly allowance of one dollar it would take her two years to save the money. So, she wanted to try her hand at selling lemonade. Both times we've done it, its been a huge hit! And she's made more than I expected. Plus, its been fun getting to know the neighbors.
